It is too cold to study final exam lol.
Do you have a nice weekend? My weekend was ughhh becuase I have to write
five pages paper for my other class.
Anyway, someone asks about your favorite shoes brand,
most of your answer will be Adidas and Nike.
Today I will compare and contrast Adidas and Nike, Nike and Adidas.
I will write my post with three main points (Main items, advertising campaign)
1. Main Items
(1) Adidas 'Stan Smith'
This is Stan Smith. This product is the biggest selling shoes of all adidas shoes.
Stan Smith is inspired by 'Stanley Smith' who is the most famous tennis player in 1970s.
Stan Smith has been sold about 40 million.
It has holes its side instead of usual three lines. As you see in the picture,
White/Green is the most famous color pattern of stan smith.
At tongue of the shoes, a face of stan smith is printed.
You can buy stan smith on the online. Its price is various depend on their color pattern.
55,000 won~ 200,000 won.

(2) Nike Air Force 1
Nike Air Force 1 was released in 1982. It was made for the basket ball players to protect
their ankle and sole. Nike used their air technology for the first time for basket ball shoes.
Stan smith doesn`t have any collaboration, but Air force has been collaborated with many
celebrities and brand.
It has very simple design and color pattern at the first time.
However, velcro is the point of the shoes.
It costs about 70,000 won ~ 120,000 average.

2. advertising campaign
(1) Adidas
They had done advertising campaign called 'impossible is nothing.'
Including David beckham, many sports stars were model of this campaign
and they tried to deliver the message that you can do it like them.
This campaign was really successful.
Next, they began another campaign which was 'Adidas is all in' in 2011.
This campaign implies that people can be the one regardless of age, gender, region
and job. Recently, they changed its slogan as 'All in or nothing.'
(2) Nike
Nike began 'JUST DO IT' campaign in 1988 that designed by Widen & Kennedy.
It conveys that everybody can communicate withe each other through the sports.
(This is the first commercial of 'Just do it')
Last year was the twenty fifth anniversary of this campaign and Nike made a souvenir
for themselves. They cast Lebron James and Serena Williams.
Both brands focus on the kind of people`s mental and try to bond it together under
the name of sports. I think their campaigns are really moving and they are not simply
advertisement and it really moves people`s mind.
